Synopsis
Fifteen-year-old Charlotte Flax is frustrated by her eccentric mother's frequent decisions to uproot the family and move to a new town. After relocating to a small Massachusetts town and Mrs. Flax begins a relationship with a local shopkeeper, Charlotte and her nine-year-old sister, Kate, hope for a more stable home life. However, Charlotte's growing attraction to an older man complicates matters, forcing the family to confront the need to accept one another for who they truly are.
