Synopsis
After Evelin lost both her legs, her friends gradually distanced themselves from her. She has remained confined to her apartment for years, moving only between the kitchen, computer, television, and bed. Old videotapes that were discovered reveal her life 25 years earlier as a man. At that time, the German Democratic Republic still existed, but not everyone successfully adapted to life in a unified Germany.
