Synopsis
A great dragon's shadow looms over the royal castle as Princess Caroline tries on a black mourning dress, visibly upset. Meanwhile, a group of invited princes dines in the courtyard. Over their meal, they debate how to respond to the dragon's threat. The first prince proposes offering the dragon a few hundred subjects instead of the princess, the second argues that the kingdom has failed to prevent the crisis and that the dragon should be deterred, and the third has written a song on the matter. However, none of the princes is willing to confront the dragon.
