Synopsis

A diverse group of individuals in Mexico City experiences turmoil as their lives intertwine, marked by heated tempers, frustrated desires, and dashed hopes. Chava, the son of a bar owner, dreams of emigrating to America. Abel, a poor barber, is deeply in love with the beautiful Alma, who later becomes a high-class prostitute. Meanwhile, Susanita, a desperate spinster, engages in numerous love affairs in the hope of finding a husband.
