Synopsis

Young businesswoman Elyse Samford's life changes when she inherits Samford Candy, a multi-billion dollar corporation, from her retired father. A trademark infringement lawsuit against a rival company leads her to Higgins Attorneys and Sons, where Rob Carelli, a well-meaning but often mistreated young lawyer, works under the pressure of his boss, firm founder Carter Higgins, and his two arrogant sons. Despite his difficult work environment, Rob is immediately drawn to Elyse. As Halloween approaches, Elyse invites the Higgins law firm staff to an extravagant masked Halloween costume ball. Rob is instructed to stay at the office that night, but he changes his mind after being convinced by his energetic 12-year-old niece, Ruby, to attend the event dressed as a prince. After a memorable waltz and a magical moment with the charming "prince," Elyse becomes determined to find the mysterious man and possibly discover the romance she has been longing for.
