Synopsis
Based on the real-life experiences of Ed Horman, the film follows a conservative American businessman who travels to Chile to investigate the sudden disappearance of his son following a military takeover. Accompanied by his son's wife, he uncovers a trail of cover-ups that implicate the U.S. State Department, which supports the dictatorship.

Cinemas keep roughly half of every ticket sold, and a wide release’s marketing often costs about as much again as the film — so a movie needs to gross around 2.5× its production budget just to break even theatrically.
