Synopsis

Ethan Hunt and his team race against time to track down a dangerous terrorist named Hendricks, who has obtained Russian nuclear launch codes and plans to launch an attack on the United States. An attempt to stop him results in an explosion that causes severe destruction to the Kremlin and implicates the IMF in the bombing, leading the President to disavow them. With government support withdrawn, Ethan and his team pursue Hendricks around the world, though they may still be too late to prevent a disaster.
