Synopsis
Mistaken for Strangers follows The National during its largest tour to date. Newbie roadie Tom, who is lead singer Matt Berninger’s younger brother, is a heavy‑metal and horror‑movie enthusiast and adds his own perspective to the experience. While working as an irreverent documentarian, Tom creates drama for the band on the road. The film presents a humorous and moving portrayal of two very different brothers and an entertaining story of artistic aspiration.
