Mister Twister
Synopsis
This adaptation of the satirical poem by Samuil Marshak criticizes racism. Mister Twister and his family traveled to the USSR by boat, having previously arranged with the Cook Travel Company that no "blacks, Malays, and other riff-raff" would be aboard the boat or in the hotel. Upon arriving in Leningrad, Twister and his family stayed at the hotel "Engleterre," and everything proceeded smoothly until they encountered a guest from Africa on one of the floors.
