A grieving mother hires a enigmatic cook to look after her young daughter, and over the years the chef becomes the family’s steadfast guardian as they navigate love, loss, and unexpected bonds.

Synopsis
When a young girl and her terminally ill mother inherit a cook named Mr. Church, an unusual bond begins to form. Initially intended as a temporary arrangement for six months, their relationship unexpectedly lasts for fifteen years.
