Synopsis
Longfellow Deeds, a small-town pizzeria owner and poet, inherits $40 billion from his deceased uncle and soon finds himself immersed in a new world of wealth. After moving to the city, Deeds becomes the target of various opportunists seeking to take advantage of his fortune. Babe, a television tabloid reporter, pretends to be a naive small-town girl in an attempt to expose him.
