Synopsis
The town of Sauquoit, New York, is home to a local legend about a reclusive man who operates an annual Halloween haunted house and is said to use real body parts to create a more terrifying experience. While the story is generally dismissed as folklore, a series of unexplained disappearances among the town's youth begins to cast doubt on its validity. Concerned about the missing teenagers, the remaining teens decide to investigate the haunted house themselves to uncover the truth. As more children vanish, progress in solving the mystery slows, and questions arise about the sheriff's lack of interest in investigating Bill Loomis, who has earned the nickname Mr. Halloween.
