Synopsis
When the executives at Heartstrings Press decide to drop Michael Rothchild’s next romance novel, junior editor Dori Shephard successfully argues to take on the role of lead editor. However, Dori quickly finds her dream assignment turning into a nightmare as she discovers Michael is not the person she expected. She informs Michael that the executives believe he is a rude, out-of-touch novelist and intend to end his contract. To avoid being dropped from Heartstrings Press, Michael agrees to collaborate with Dori for 30 days. As Dori struggles with Michael’s uncooperative behavior, she is also in the process of planning her wedding to her fiancé, Philip. But her work on the project begins to strain her personal relationship. Dori must come to understand the true meaning of love before it's too late.
