Murder Among Friends
Synopsis
Private investigator Steve is being blackmailed by beat cop Melvin Jarvis, who is also his divorce client. Would-be actor Mark Woodruff, from a wealthy background, is arrested for shooting his affluent father, Nathan. Among his few acting class acquaintances, only Italian immigrant Isabella believes in his innocence and manages to hire Steve despite financial constraints, with widow Marsha emerging as the primary suspect. However, they soon uncover that an art theft gang is involved, including Mark's childhood friends: gallery owner Brandon, his partner Jamie, who is shot, and mastermind Alicia.
