Murder in Chartreuse
Synopsis
In the Forest of the Chartreuse massif, a group of lumberjacks discovers the body of a man suspended in the air by a rope system, appearing like a disarticulated puppet. Justine Verard, leading the investigation, is compelled to work with Mehdi Djaoud, whom she blames for the death of her husband, a detective who died during a botched mission five years earlier. Despite their troubled history, the two must collaborate to solve this first murder together as the mystery deepens. As the investigation progresses, Justine finds herself caught between her personal struggles and the case, trapped in a tightening grip until the final countdown under intense pressure.
