Synopsis
Wallace, a wealthy landowner in Meriwether County, Georgia, holds virtually unlimited power in the area, including control over the local sheriff. After he murders a sharecropper he believes he can evade consequences due to his influence. However, because the murder occurred in Coweta County, the case falls under the jurisdiction of the Coweta County sheriff, who pursues the killer without fear.
