My Backyard Was a Mountain
Synopsis
Told through the memory of an aging gentleman, the film follows Adan, a Puerto Rican boy in the late 1950s who must find a new home for his pet goat, Chivo, before his family moves to New York City. As Adan searches for someone to take care of Chivo, he begins to experience the early stirrings of love with his childhood friend, Denise, a connection he will have to leave behind when his family relocates.
