My Date with Drew
Synopsis
Brian Herzlinger first saw Drew Barrymore in *E.T. the Extra‑Terrestrial* while he was in second grade, and the experience sparked an enduring crush. Twenty years later, at age 27, the New Jersey‑born aspiring filmmaker decides to pursue his long‑standing desire by asking Barrymore on a date. The situation is complicated by the fact that Barrymore is a well‑known actress, whereas Herzlinger is a financially struggling filmmaker.
