My Mother's Castle
“Return to childhood in Provence.”
Synopsis
Young Marcel Pagnol and his family return to their home in Marseille, France, much to his dismay, leaving behind their rural holiday cottage in the hills. Undeterred, Marcel embarks on the long journey to the cottage on foot, which results in him getting into trouble. One day, Marcel's father discovers a shortcut to the cottage, though it involves trespassing. Despite their hesitation, Marcel and his family begin using the hidden path to access their cottage.
