Synopsis
The main events take place on a train. An acceptance committee from Moscow identifies flaws in the constructed bakery and refuses to sign the handover document. However, the outcome of this decision affects not only the fates of many individuals involved in the construction but also the future of the town itself. Lyonya Shindin, a conscientious and upright man, tries every possible means to change the commission's decision.
