Synopsis
Elif is 10 years old, and her sister Ayşe is 13. It is a hot summer in 1980s Istanbul. After Ayşe has an accident, she spends the summer confined to bed. Elif drives her sister to distraction, though she does not understand why. Ayşe becomes distant, as if living in a faraway place.
