Synopsis
During the U.S. Civil War, a group of Union prisoners of war escape in a balloon and become stranded on a remote island in the South Pacific, which is inhabited by giant plants and animals. Struggling to survive the island's dangers, they use their ingenuity to find a way to return home. The film is a sequel to *20,000 Leagues Under the Sea*.
