Synopsis
In early 19th-century Madagascar, King Andrianampoinimerina envisions a unified, peaceful nation, preserving the independence of individual royalties. But his heir, Ramavolahy, plots to conquer the other kingdoms by force. The King must convince his successor to embrace this peaceful future or find a new heir. After a mystical revelation, he chooses Ikoto for the throne. A historical drama rich with palace intrigue, conspiracies, and betrayal, this film chronicles the King’s visionary struggle to pave the way for the true Malagasy Nation.
