Synopsis
The Kenyan-German film 'Nawi: Dear Future Me' won five awards at the 14th Kalasha International Film and TV Awards, including best film and best lead actress. The movie, which explores child marriage through the story of a gifted girl, also received awards for costume design, production design, and audience choice. It was Kenya's entry for the 2025 Oscars in the best international feature film category.
