Nightwish: End of an Era

*End of an Era* is a concert by the Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish, recorded at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland, on 21 October 2005. It marked the final performance of their worldwide tour in support of the album *Once*. During the concert, the band was joined on stage by John Two-Hawks, who performed "Stone People" from his album *Honor* as an introduction to "Creek Mary's Blood," which also featured his vocals and cedar flute contributions. *End of an Era* is the last Nightwish production to include Tarja Turunen on vocals; she was dismissed by letter following the concert. The concert features original Nightwish songs as well as three notable covers: Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away," Andrew Lloyd Webber's "The Phantom of the Opera," and Pink Floyd's "High Hopes." The concert's running time is 1 hour and 43 minutes. It also includes a 55-minute documentary titled *A Day Before Tomorrow*, which chronicles the fifteen days leading up to the concert, and a photo gallery.
