Synopsis
Nirvana Unplugged in New York is a 45-minute live performance by the American rock band Nirvana, recorded for the television network MTV. It features the band performing an unplugged, or acoustic, set, showcasing a different side of their music. The performance was part of MTV's Unplugged series, which typically features artists performing stripped-down versions of their songs. The original version of the performance was broadcast on MTV and later released as a live album and concert film.
