Synopsis
The final three weeks of school have begun after students receive their Abitur, Germany’s leaving certificate, and friends and classmates from Gymnasium Kerkheim will soon be separated. Markus faces a conflict between spending time with his longtime friends and meeting the expectations of Sandra, a younger girl who wants him to stay with her. Dirk is under pressure because failing an upcoming midday math exam could result in his expulsion. Michael, despite being an exemplary student, lacks enjoyment in life and remains unaware of this emptiness. When Steven announces a party to celebrate his exemption from military service, the group gathers for one of their last shared events.
