No Rest for the Wicked

Set in Madrid at the beginning of the century, the story follows police inspector Santos Trinidad, who, after coming home drunk one night, becomes involved in a triple murder. A witness manages to escape and could potentially expose him. Determined to avoid being implicated, Santos launches an investigation to track down and eliminate the witness. At the same time, Judge Chacón, tasked with probing the murders, carefully and methodically works to uncover the identity of the killer. As their paths converge, both men realize that what initially appeared to be a straightforward case of drug trafficking is, in fact, something far more complex and dangerous.
