“Nói would like to be loved. Nói would like to become rich. Nói would like to escape to Hawaii.”
Synopsis
Nói, a 17-year-old boy, drifts through life in a remote fjord in Iceland. During winter, the fjord becomes isolated from the outside world, encircled by foreboding mountains and buried beneath thick snow. Nói dreams of escaping this icy, confined environment with Íris, a young woman from the city who works at a local gas station. However, his awkward efforts to flee quickly spiral beyond his control.
