O Pai Tirano
Synopsis
This remake of the 1940 film with the same name tells the story of a theatre company, its members, their romantic entanglements, and the resulting mistakes and misunderstandings. Chico is in love with Tatão, who is being courted by Artur. Graça is in love with Chico but is unaware that he loves Tatão. Santana writes a play for the Grandelinhas that is intended to guide Chico's passion and convince Tatão that he is a rich count. The play is staged, and as a result, all of them end up in prison.
