Olga
Synopsis
The film is based on the true story of Olga Benário, a German‑born woman who was married to Brazilian communist leader Luís Carlos Prestes. During Getúlio Vargas’s dictatorship (1930–1945) she was arrested and extradited to Nazi Germany, where she was killed in a concentration camp; after World War II began, Vargas chose to align Brazil with the Allies.
