On Dangerous Ground
Synopsis
Vusi Madlazi returns to his South African village, where he had left as a young man after organizing against apartheid and fleeing for his safety. He is there to bury his father and reunites with his brother Ernest, who informs him that their other brother, Stephen, could not be reached. Vusi travels to Johannesburg to locate Stephen, initially finding only Karin, Stephen's neighbor and girlfriend, who works as a stripper. As he searches, Vusi becomes aware of how the post-apartheid era has changed the social landscape, often to the detriment of black men.
