Synopsis
Dek is a kind but unremarkable man who shares a content life with his girlfriend, Shirley. They live together with Shirley's 12-year-old daughter, Marlene, the child of Shirley's former partner, Jimmy, a troubled figure who abandoned the family years ago and has since remained absent from their lives. Dek's deep affection for Shirley leads him to propose to her on national television.
