Synopsis
The 1972 Munich Olympics were disrupted by a Palestinian terrorist attack in which Israeli athletes were taken hostage. The film includes footage from the event as well as interviews with surviving terrorist Jamal Al Gashey and various officials who recount the details of the failed rescue operation. It is revealed that the police, lacking an anti-terrorist unit and refusing assistance from Israeli authorities, mishandled the situation. The documentary also covers the Israeli retaliation operation known as 'Wrath of God.'
