Synopsis
Trevor Garfield, a high school teacher from Brooklyn, is repeatedly stabbed by a student. Fifteen months later, he moves to Los Angeles and settles in an unruly, predominantly Indigenous Latin American neighborhood. His new school is populated by four dangerously undisciplined Indigenous Latino American students and one European-American student who are members of a tagging gang known as K.O.S. (Kappin' Off Suckers).
