Synopsis

Melanie Parker is an architect and mother of Sammy, while Jack Taylor is a newspaper columnist and father of Maggie. Both are divorced and meet one morning when Jack, overwhelmed and forgetful, leaves Maggie in an unexpected situation, forgetting that Melanie was supposed to take her to school. As a result, both children miss their school field trip and are left in the care of their parents. The two adults initially project negative stereotypes of ex-spouses onto each other but gradually come to rely on one another to look after the children while each works to save their job. Sammy adds humor to the situation.

The scale of the collaboration

A crew of 60+ credited

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
