One Is Business, the Other Crime
Synopsis
Griffith alternates between the lives of two couples who married on the same day—one affluent, the other impoverished. As time progresses, the poorer husband, driven by desperation due to unemployment, tries to commit a burglary. He is caught at gunpoint by the house's mistress. Unbeknownst to him, this is the home of the wealthy couple. While confronting the intruder, the rich wife inadvertently uncovers evidence linking her own husband to a bribery scandal.
