Synopsis
In 1974, in Bremen, 22-year-old Siggi Thieme is eager to leave the typing pool where she works as a secretary in order to attend a job interview. Her ambition is to become a detective inspector, a goal now within reach as the law has removed the previous barrier preventing women from entering the profession. She has not informed her family or her fiancé, Jürgen, about her application, aware that she would likely face resistance.
