Synopsis
Hatanaka Kosaku is a young boxer who struggles with an uncontrollable appetite, a problem that forces him into heavier weight classes where he faces stronger opponents. He also suffers from vomiting when struck in the body, which discourages potential challengers. His coach is frustrated by Kosaku's lack of discipline in training. The situation becomes more complicated when a young nun encounters Kosaku after he faints on the street during a forced fast. She initially feeds him, thinking he is starving, and later tries to assist him in preparing for a fight. However, his constant hunger and the unusual dynamic between them make the process difficult.
