Synopsis

In Naples, photographer Oreste Pipolo is well known for his wedding photography. An album of his highly romanticized images is, much like a lavish dinner at an upscale hotel, considered essential for a successful wedding. If necessary, every proud couple will spend their final savings to hire Pipolo. In *Oreste Pipolo*, the city of Naples and especially the tradition of Neapolitan weddings form the world in which Pipolo operates. We see him regularly managing anxious couples and organizing the details for yet another ceremony, all while directing his assistants with authority. But once the customers are out of sight, a different side of Pipolo emerges—one who, after thirty years in the business, is exhausted and genuinely tired of seeing another bridal pair.

How many hands made this film

The scale of the collaboration

Principal cast & crew: 18

These are the principals we have on file — the full crew ran to the hundreds. Every film this size was made by far more hands than any credits list ever names.

Why a floor?

This is a minimum, not a total. We only count the credits we’ve captured so far, and coverage is uneven — a blockbuster might show a few hundred names while another of the same size shows a couple dozen. The real crews all ran into the thousands. The number here only grows as full credits are enriched — so we frame it as a floor, never a headcount.
