Synopsis
Ostia is a short film directed by Julian Cole and produced for the Royal College of Art. It reimagines the events leading up to the murder of Pier Paolo Pasolini, setting the story in London and casting Derek Jarman in the role of Pasolini. The film includes a dream sequence, accompanied by excerpts from Pasolini’s poetry, which are read by Jarman.
