A widowed mother reaches out to her reclusive neighbor, hoping a tentative friendship will fill their empty lives—only to confront the fear and gossip that threaten their unexpected bond.
Synopsis
Addie Moore and Louis Waters, a widow and a widower, have been neighbors for many years, though they have maintained little to no relationship with each other. This changes when Addie takes the initiative to reach out and attempt to connect with her neighbor.
