Outrage
Synopsis
Lainie Wheeler has two daughters, but her husband abandons them to join a Thai monastery. She neglects her job in TV production and discovers a new calling in nursing care for terminal patients, even after her friend dies at the facility. She also begins a relationship with Matt Harper, who is caring toward her children, but he becomes addicted to pills, causes a serious accident, loses custody of his children, and requires long-term institutional therapy. After his release, a friend helps Lainie secure another job in TV production, where she meets baseball player Harry Brewer. When he is unfaithful and becomes too emotionally involved, Lainie ends up killing him. Detective Webster investigates the case.
