Synopsis
A drama-documentary presented by Alan Yentob, featuring Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role. Every line spoken by the actors in the film is drawn from the letters Van Gogh wrote to his younger brother Theo and others in his circle. The film presents a complex portrayal of a sophisticated, civilised, yet deeply troubled individual.
