Palace of the Damned
Synopsis
Rebecca, portrayed by Katie Savoy, travels to China with her film crew to create a documentary about the Chinese Ghost Festival, following in the footsteps of her late fiancé, who died under mysterious circumstances. While there, she discovers the tale of Chan Ju Chi, a concubine who was brutally murdered and cast into a well by the head concubine Ping Wei, played by JuJu Chan, on the secluded grounds of a palace. According to legend, Chan Ju Chi has transformed into a "jiangshi," a reanimated corpse that kills people in an attempt to possess their bodies. The situation escalates when a worker is attacked near a dilapidated well inside an ancient palace. As Rebecca investigates the legend, those around her are brutally murdered, one by one.
