In a distant future where the continuity of history has been lost, humanity lives in an increasingly deteriorating, entirely artificial and enclosed world. The sea and the sky no longer exist, and the only glimpse of "living" scenery comes from records of the past, unearthed as relics. The Bureau of Record Excavation is the organization tasked with this work. Ura is employed at the 92nd office of the bureau, deeply engrossed in restoring various records and captivated by the world of the past. Riko, meanwhile, keeps a careful distance from him, choosing to avoid the records, convinced that sometimes people simply wish for things to remain unchanged. Everyone in this world understands that learning about the past means confronting the suffering that led to the present reality. But one day, Ura restores a strange video.
