Passage of Venus
Synopsis
A photo sequence of the rare transit of Venus across the Sun is among the earliest examples of chronophotography. In 1873, P.J.C. Janssen, also known as Pierre Jules César Janssen, invented the Photographic Revolver, a device capable of capturing a series of images in sequence. The automatic device produced a row of images without human intervention and was used to document the passage of Venus before the Sun in 1874.

Why a floor?
This is a minimum, not a total.
