Past Malice: An Emma Fielding Mystery
Synopsis
Archaeologist Emma Fielding is hired to consult on the acquisition of a castle-like estate, which local legend claims is cursed. She becomes embroiled in a murder case after discovering the body of the archaeologist she was hired to shadow in a secret chamber deep within the large building. With the help of her friend, FBI special agent Jim Conner, Fielding must examine clues and consider a long list of suspects, each of whom has a potential motive for wanting the man dead, in order to identify the killer.
