Synopsis
*Patent Absurdity* examines the issue of software patents and the history of judicial decisions that contributed to their emergence, as well as the negative impact they have had on software developers and the broader economy. The film draws from a series of interviews conducted during the Supreme Court's consideration of *In re Bilski* — a case with the potential to significantly affect the patenting of software.
