Synopsis
Around the year 1000 AD, warlike people known as the "tjuder" roam northern Scandinavia. After they brutally kill a family in a remote area—including the parents and their young daughter—the family's teenage son, Aigin, witnesses the slaughter. He manages to escape and reaches a camp of other Sámi, whose inhabitants are concerned whether he has concealed his trail. Fearing the killers, the Sámi decide to flee to the coast. Aigin remains alone to seek revenge for his family's murder. Unfortunately, the tjuder capture him before he can act and force him to lead them to the other Sámi. He agrees to guide them but has a plan to destroy the barbarous people before they reach the camp.
